Prior to leaving for work this morning, I heard a weird, whooshing noise coming from somewhere inside the house. When I stepped into the basement, I spotted the problem immediately. A huge river of water was streaming from underneath our water heater, which was replaced a little over six months ago. Fearing the worst, I Googled “water heater repair Pittsburgh” and quickly glanced over the listings. Among the half dozen or so displayed, only one was close to a five star rating...A Pittsburgh Plumber (the one star, as it turns out, is actually a rave review that, for some reason, has only one star provided). I spoke with the owner, Dave, who informed me that he was on another job but would be over to look at my problem as soon as he was finished. True to his word, I did receive a call later and he informed me he was on his way. I found Dave to be completely knowledgeable and professional and he was able to replace our water heater and even suggest a new size which was optimal for our space and needs. In terms of the work done and the amount charged, he was more than fair! Though I hope I don’t have any emergency issues in the near future, I would not hesitate to call Dave at A Pittsburgh Plumber again. In fact, I’m considering a remodeling project on a downstairs bathroom that would involve intricate plumbing alterations and I’ve already let Dave know that when I’m ready, I will give him a call. In addition, I will highly recommend him to any family and friends in need of his services!

Dave did a tremendous job and he did it on very short notice on a weekend. I have a family at home, so a plumbing need on a weekend is a big deal. Dave showed up exactly when he promised he would. He was polite, professional, and friendly. He got my home back functioning properly very, very quickly. Finally, what he charged me for the work was very reasonable - a very fair price for the work that he did. I can't say strongly enough that if you live in this part of Pittsburgh and need a plumbing job done, call A Pittsburgh Plumber! I guarantee that I will be calling him if/when I need help in the future!

I can't say enough good things about Dave. He is always on time. And he is always quick to respond to a customer call. He is knowledgeable about the old plumbing in my 75 year old house. No job is too scary for him! He offers a fair price and sticks to it. He has done many bonus things for me all in the name of good customer service. I have a great laundry room set up with a new sink and a gas dryer thanks to Dave. I have two amazing new bathrooms thanks to Dave and his partner Tom. New floor, tile, sinks, toilets, drains, the works! They look fantastic!! Dave is my go to plumber!!

Called Dave after my own unsuccessful attempt to unclog my bathroom sink. He was punctual, friendly, reasonable and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how the plumbing is configured in my bathroom which I appreciate. I would use his services again and highly recommend.
