We're in subrogation with our insurance with a claim against for a bad install/maintenance on our HVAC and the condensation line. They came to our home for this normal maintenance at the very start of July and poor maintenance occured. And they even stated on the invoice, which we refused to sign, that the condensation line was working well, as was the restof our system. Well then 3 weeks later it was apparent that leaked into our home causing thousands of dollars worth of damages and found to be from the faulty install and maintenance of the condensation line. When I called suspecting something wasn't right on the maintenance check visit before the leak and water damage was discovered, I shared that something was wrong with the maintenance check and the tech (Jordan)was acting like something happened but was trying to cover it up. There was excessive noise, banging, drilling, and our unit was turned off for an excessive time to the point of alarm. When I called the manager was very annoyed and condescending in response saying I didn't know what I was talking about and that Duke's had a higher level of service than Sure Temp with whom they recently merged with in February 2025. Nonetheless 3 weeks later b the leak made it into our home right in our main bedroom. When I called at 9am after having a plumber come look and find it to be the condensation line, Duke's said they couldn't get anyone out until 7pm... while the line continues to leak in my home and cause more water damage...? So I called another company and they came within the hour. However Duke's called back just as I was giving the other company permission to save our home from more damage and do the work. They said they would send someone to come fix it and they did, though he didn't fix it properly nor go into the attic to verify. The leak continued and was found when insurance sent mitigation over to help with damage and begin process. When calling Duke's again to slow them to fix their mistake again, they said it's not their fault, they already sent someone to fix it for free once(but it wasn't fixed as know), and there's nothing they can do about it. To say the least, I was done with them. I hired the other company, sent pictures, invoice both past and up until the day, including merger docs, website links to all they stated about the merger on both pair and the web, and even a BS invoice they edited stating that they had told us during a different maintenance check we were told the line was broken and we declined to have it fixed?!? I have the printout and electronic email receipt from actual maintenence on that date showing pictures and thorough documentation that all parts were working fine including the condensation line. Not to mention our unit is only a couple of years old. Our insurance had tried to contact them regarding their responsibility for damages and costs to no avail. They cannot figure out who or if they are insured, though Duke's states they are on their site "licensed and insured". My insurance said they found the last insurance carriers for then which no longer cover them and cannot find them under any other insurance as of yet... so either they're not insured and doing work on people's homes or they are avoiding responsibility. If they weren't worried they were at fault, I would think they'd be in conversation with our adjuster and/or theirs to figure things out and let them handle it at least. So truly, ZERO STARS. As for the message in reply below, try having Duke's of Air answer the many calls from our insurance adjusters and subrogation to address all of this?!

Had a leak and pooling water from a clogged condensation hose. It was a holiday weekend, but was able to get a technician to come out early on a Sunday morning. Ricky Olivarez was helpful and knowledgeable. Had the problem repaired quickly and efficiently. I use this company for my main home and 2 rental properties. As well as 2 salon locations. They’ve always been reasonably priced, knowledgeable and educate you on repairs and maintenance. Highly recommend!

We've been using this company for several years. We have a maintenance service with them. After several bad experiences with other companies we FINALLY found one that values us as a customer. Anthony is our go to tech. He's knowledgeable and an all around nice guy. The office staff is wonderful to deal with. They're always pleasant amd accommodating. Great company all around.
