Battavio Plumbing Heating and Cooling

We engaged Battavio Heating and Plumbing for a plumbing inspection and PM contract, but the experience felt far more like a sales exercise than a service engagement. During the plumbing inspection, a simple sink sensor issue was flagged. When I asked for a quote, it came back at $500. I told the technician I would handle it myself. Despite that, the invoice later included an additional $80 “diagnostic” charge, which felt unwarranted given how straightforward the issue was. This was a basic sensor replacement that any competent plumber could have identified quickly. The HVAC side was worse. I emailed the assigned rep multiple times with no response. I eventually had to go through their corporate office just to get the first PM scheduled. Then, the morning of the scheduled PM, I received an email from the rep stating they could no longer honor the PM contract. The explanation shifted between the system being “more than expected” and not having the personnel to support it now, in a few weeks, or even months. If that’s the case, it’s hard to understand why they would enter into commercial PM contracts at all. Overall, this was a frustrating experience marked by poor communication, questionable billing, and a lack of follow-through. I would not recommend Battavio for commercial plumbing or HVAC work if reliability and professionalism matter.

Huge shoutout to Batavio Plumbing for coming through during an emergency! Our boiler died Sunday night after a big snow storm, leaving us without heat or hot water. They were at our house by 8am Tuesday morning, and by 2pm our entire system was replaced. An amazing company and an absolute pleasure to work with!

Dan from Battavio just serviced my HVAC system. He was very professional and respectful (first question he asked me was should he put boot shimmies on to protect my hardwood floors!). Quick, concise, and never once did I feel he was trying to gouge me for $/problems that didn't exist. I will use Battavio for all of my HVAC plumbing needs.
