Howard did a fantastic job. Handled 3 separate bathroom issues in the same home. Highly recommended provider and plumber.
Absolutely outstanding service! From the moment I called, the team was prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. They diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly. The plumber was courteous, respectful of my home, and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. Fair pricing, honest work, and exceptional quality—everything you’d hope for in a plumbing company. I highly recommend them and will definitely use their services again!
I had a shower that was flooding onto the kitchen floor below when running. The plumber (Howard) showed up on time, but then went straight to the shower and turned it on. I asked him not to leave it on for longer than needed as it would flood the floor below, but he didn't seem to pay attention to that. He started speculating that it might be leaking through the shower handle cover (that I had removed a year ago and not re-caulked). He didn't seem to listen when I told him that the scale of the leak indicated that it wasn't just a little water seeping through the cracks in the cover. He lectured me about how he "had been doing this for 30 years". He didn't seem to realize that I had been living in this house for 30 years and had a better idea of the leak from actually having seen it, whereas he hadn't even seen it yet. When he finally turned it off and we came back downstairs, half the kitchen floor was flooded. He then advised me to "get some towels". No response to my reminder of the request to not leave it on for long. Also informed me that he would have to cut a hole in the ceiling to diagnose the leak and that there would be a charge for that. At that point I had had enough and had no desire to engage his services. The next day I had another plumbing company come in to take a look. Upon hearing my request they laid out a drop cloth right away and turned the shower on for just enough time to actually see the leak themselves and evaluate it. Yes, it meant they had to run up and down the stairs a couple of times, but they did what they needed to do. They also cut a hole (at no charge) and verified that there were no pipes leaking. In the end the leak was in the shower unit itself and they found it just by close observation. In other words, they were thoroughly attentive and professional, in contrast to the plumber from Benjamin Franklin who was anything but. The Benjamin Franklin plumber may have been very knowledgeable about plumbing from his 30 years of experience but he didn't have the awareness to realize that it was also important to get the homeowner's input about the situation before evaluating the problem.
