Drivers of their vans drive erratically. Whoever the driver was in Care Free area November 12, 2025 sped up as lane was condensing to one lane and tailgated me (as I was already going over the speed limit) went to my right side - matched my speed. Lane condenses to one and driver would not yield to the point where we almost hit each other. I slowed down majorly so we wouldn’t collide and allowed him to pass. Either the company makes drivers/plumbers have to get to appointments in crazy time crunches or the drivers just do not care. I take this as a reflection of the company and I would not recommend.

I had my ac installed by donkey a/c & plumbing. When it started raining, I started getting water dripping into my ac in take vent. The paint is peeling. I had contractor come out and he believes it is due to the installation of the new ac. This never happened with my previous agent. When I called to have them look at it. Their supervisor came out who was unwilling to go on roof without charging me a visit. Which basically defeats having warranty. Anyways, after back and forth he went up and said he isn't qualified to identify issue since he isn't a roofer. Basically said, my roof is foam. And when they installed it, they don't do the same thing as if it was shingle roof. So they can't guarantee that it won't cause leak. Apparently this was in the contract. Not once was this mentioned to me during purchase or installation. My room is only 4-5 years old. So it'snt an old roof. I tried calling back to speak to the owner/manager? His name is Ibrahim. Man left so many messages. I can't get a call back. So personally I would choose different company if you are purchasing an AC since they want to have cold feet now there is something wrong during warranty period

Patrick was great! He came in, inspected the area of concern, and after explaining how and what he was going to do, he quoted me a price and promptly started working. He was very neat and conscientious with everything he touched. I highly recommend both Patrick and Donley AC and Plumbing to all in need of any of their services!

I’ve used Donley for a long time as I am always happy with their service. Today though Walt went above and beyond the great service I usually get even. Took care of everything, worked some “magic” when a possible problem arose and got everything done quickly, while still communicating it every step of them! Thanks Walt you were great!

We have been receiving excellent service from Donley for 10 years now on 2 of our properties. Their maintenance program is well worth the extra cost with regular HVAC tune-ups and priority emergency call-outs, even on Sundays. We always request Hunter as our preferred tech. He is genuine about letting us know the health of our systems.

The Donley plumber Matthew was on time, friendly, explained the services and options. He was having difficulty clearing our pipes due to the age of them, so he called the drain manager who brought out a camera for no additional fee to see what was happening in the pipe. The drain manager was on the other side of town so it took him about 1 hour to arrive. In the meantime, Matthew kept working on the pipe and finally cleared the blockage. Turn the manager arrived with the camera and filmed the pipe to determine the shape of them . This house was built in 1961, but we had no holes, some ridges and pit which were typical for their age. They sent me the video so I could share it with my husband who was out of town. I was then shown a sample of pipe with lining in it which is an option to tearing up the foundation and replacing the pipes under the house. I don’t know if we will proceed in that direction but I appreciated learning about the current condition of the pipe and this option. As far as pricing our invoice was about $600 evenly split between clearing the drain and replacing the gasket on the toilet that was leaking and reinstalling the toilet. The latter is something my husband would had done if he had been home. Overall I highly recommend the Donley service and our technician Matthew for his persistent work to get the drain cleared, professional manner and demeanor. Thank you!

This review is meant for the HVAC group at Donley. I had no issues with their plumbing division. Further, I had no issues with the quality of any of the installation work, those that showed up at my condo multiple times for the removal of the old HVAC system, then the installation of the new one and then the tweaking of the system after installation. The mechanical work is fine, and the team treated me well at each visit. My problem with Donley is 1) The choice of equipment they recommended and I trusted them to install and 2) Their complete lack of testing/validation work - pre and post installation - unless you beg them to do it. Shortly after the installation was complete, I realized the system was completely unbalanced. My bedroom would run upwards of 8-10 degrees colder than the living room. This is something you think your HVAC group would care about, but ultimately, in my case, they left it up to me to decide that this was a problem. This is not what you want in an HVAC group you're about to spend 15k+ with. You want an HVAC group that has standards for balancing and doesn't accept anything outside those standards. After multiple calls and Donley billing me further to fix the egregious unbalanced problems that they created, Donley returned at my home to add another duct and some dampers. At first, the bedroom turned into a ball of lava and the living room was barely satisfactory. They of course waited for me to tell them this was the outcome. Then, after the second tweak, they returned the bedroom to a satisfactory temperature and now the Living Room runs about 4-5 degrees over the thermostat again. If the stove turns on, or I open any door, the living room gets worse my home will take hours upon hours to re-balance again. And when I say re-balanced, I mean the Living Room is 4-5 degrees over thermostat rather than 6 or even 8 at times. What has caused this drama is that Donley chose to install the exact same style HVAC system into my home that was there before, with no considerations to how poor the old one was. I accepted this decision because they told me the newer one is all I needed for a great HVAC system. Today, long after the installation and long after consulting with two other HVAC groups, and doing my own research, it's abundantly clear the Air Handler is too undepowered for my home and that the existing ductwork needs to be futher modified. Both of these topics, the air handler becoming a different style (larger) and redoing the ducts, were completely on the table on my end before we started the project. The 1-Star is because next winter I'm throwing out their entire system, and installing a new one, again. I'm not throwing it out because I want to, it's because bigger air handlers aren't compatible with the compressor they installed. By next summer I will have spent upwards of 35K on HVAC for a 1-Bedroom condo. What a complete disaster. The 1-star is also because I was incredibly clear with Donley on what I wanted. I wanted to upgrade the HVAC system, not make it the same or worse than what it was. If you are planning on a new HVAC system install, choose someone else. Chose another group that does the calculations of what HVAC system is correct for your home. Then, a group that takes pride in making sure the system is balanced to quality standards.

First time using Donley for an HVAC repair. Mike called ahead before arrival and then explained the costs up front after he assessed the failure. He was able to make repairs on site as he carries parts available on his truck. This is great as it makes for a quick repair with no delays. Great service and knowledgeable technician. Friendly and respectful. He also explained the company's various maintenance plans which are a great price. I will definitely be using Donely for my future needs.

I own a condo and was having trouble with low water pressure, leaks and a faulty toilet. I called 2 different companies who all claimed the work I needed done was too risky. My neighbor recommended I called Donley and what great advice. There is not enough space here to explain the wonderful and professional actions of my service agent, Seth. He met with me to investigate my issues--which turned out to be faulty cartridges; he installed a bypass valve in my unit so now I do not have to alert the HOA to send a broadcasted message to other residents in my building that the water will be temporarily off for repair service. That is the best because if anyone lives in a condo and has to call their HOA for anything, it is a hassle. Now I have my own water shut off valve and I do not need to involve anyone when I need service. For those thinking, well what about the main water shut off valve that was installed during construction. Well the workers painted over it and the valve is frozen in place. But I digress, Seth was amazing. He fixed every single issue I had. Donley has a customer for life.
