Drain Detectives

We have a sewer smell coming from somewhere in our house, we think the laundry room. Admittedly a challenging problem. I'm frustrated because the person I spoke to on the phone must have known there was nothing they could do, but sent a plumber anyway. The plumber was nice, did his best but I essentially had the same conversation with him that I'd had on the phone, only it cost $75. Smell started up less than an hour later. I don't fault them for being unable to help, but I'm extremely frustrated they weren't transparent about their inability to deal with my specific problem on the phone. Update: As I feel your response to my review is misleading I reserve the right to clarify my position: I was given a half refund after I discovered a leak in the p-trap in my laundry room which your plumber failed to check. It was the only thing you were clear about on the phone before coming: that a smell could be related to the p-traps. You did not check all the p-traps in the laundry room where I thought the smell was coming from, as I discovered shortly after your service call. I complained about this issue and we came to the agreement of a partial refund. You were beligerant and aggressive. I was frustrated by your poor communication that a smoke test would have been a better course of action. However, I did not pursue a refund until I discovered you were also negligent.

We have used them several times. They are prompt and charge exactly what they say they will. Excellent work and very personable. Really great!

Drain Detectives showed up fast, and I really appreciated how they took time to really understand the situation before they got to work. The service was prompt and they cleaned up before they left. I won't hesitate to call them back if needed!
