From our first inquiry call, to the in-person quote, to the installation of a new water heater and radiant floor heat manifold the folks at E & S Plumbing Services were friendly, knowledgable, and professional. I am especially grateful for the work that Ryan and Tony did on our aging radiant floor heat system and the beyond expectations service of Shane who came out on a call during our biggest snow storm of the season.

Thank you Ed and Jeff for outstanding plumbing service on short notice! They dismantled two big mainline clogs without complaint all while keeping up a lovely conversation and explaining what they were doing. They were fast and effective and I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to them again!

Very knowledgeable wouldn’t hire again however. Up charged on the out of pocket expenses. Ex: over $200 to install a $30 pan under the water heater that was getting drained already as apart of the service job. Cut my pvc to the drain and said they would replace it and never did after telling the new tech they sent out after the initial appointment. Stay away.

The gentleman who I spoke with in their office hung up on me twice after I asked him about them charging me $450 an hour for the simple clearing of the line their plumber did. I will not be using E&S plumbing again. There are plenty of other experienced and well qualified plumbers in town who can get the job done well who don't treat their customers so rudely and poorly. Use them at your own peril of being treated bad. Not good business practice!

We scheduled an appointment for a few jobs to be done. The plumber who came decided to start with the smallest job and work his way up. He did an excellent job on the work he completed, which is why we are leaving a 3-star rating. However, several hours and hundred of dollars later, he said he had to leave because he was running behind. Since he started with the small stuff, we didn’t even get our most pressing repair completed. There was no offer to reschedule to finish the repairs. Instead, he told us to cut a hole in the wall on our own and call him to tell him how it looked. If we felt comfortable or knowledgeable doing that sort of work, we would not be paying so much for a plumber.

My evaporative cooler was malfunctioning and my cistern ran dry. Refilled the cistern but the water wouldn’t pump into the house. A little internet sleuthing suggested the pressure regulator needed to be reset. I called E&S, explained my problem and potential solution.Told them the pressure gauge still read 80 psi with the pump unplugged. They sent a guy out same day, that was good. The guy they sent didn’t know about cisterns or evaporative coolers. Heard him talking on the phone getting advice on how to reset the regulator. Spent a bit of time playing with the pressure gauge. Ascertained it was broken. Didn’t replace it because of course he didn’t have one. Told me “next time you call someone out, tell them to bring a gauge”. Seriously! Then I was charged $150 for 48 minutes of him being at my home. Then, I kid you not $25 for gas! Funny, my employer never rounded my pay up to the nearest hour, nor did they pay me for gas. So essentially $175 to show up regardless of their skill level. It’s sad actually, because they were once an honest, decent service provider that I trusted. 

Reached out to April a true professional, very knowledgeable of what is required to perform the services we desired. She dispatched Ryan the next day to review what would be required for tools and materials. Ryan called prior to arriving as discussed and on time. Ryan a true professional, remained focused and diligent the entire day. His work was complete, neat and clean. Due to the amount of work to be provided he returned the following day on time and quickly completed the tasks to be finished. He communicated through out the days of what he was doing and how Long we would be with out water and or gas. Both were short durations. On a third trip after our supplied items arrived, the same scenio occurred, on time, prompt, professional, neat clean and efficient. We will be employing E & S in our future needs.
