My family and I contacted Gold Star this past June to get a full plumbing inspection for a home we wanted to purchase. Gold Star quickly got us on their schedule and they sent out two gentleman named Anthony and Jake. Anthony quickly got to work on the exterior of the home while Jake began his inspection inside the home. After the inspection was completed, we got to go over the details personally with the team and get their professional status report on the condition of the homes plumbing. We received great news, no damage aside from a failing water softener. We ended up purchasing the home and moving in on July 9th. We reached back out to Gold Star to get the water softener replaced and Gold Star once again provided us with exceptional customer service and a great price compared to the other licensed plumbers. During the install I was at work but their installer named Rey was extremely kind and professional to my girlfriend and our daughter. He personally called me after the install was completed to let me know it was finished and to tell me how to service the new system. Rey also had to retrofit the new system and he did amazing work and the lines are all smooth and tight. We can 100% tell the difference in the water quality and we are thankful once again to Gold Star for their fair pricing and for the quality service they provide to their community. We were on a tight timeline and needed some complicated plumbing work completed quickly. Vincent arrived on-site exactly when he said he would and walked the job with us. He gave a rough quote on the spot, and that quote ended up being the exact amount we were billed — no surprises. This was a complex web of 50 year old cast iron and copper drains for an upper floor as well as the new bathroom being remodeled. When he showed up in a clean white shirt, clean pants, and a festive Christmas hat, I honestly thought, “He doesn’t look like he’s ready for dirty cast iron sewer drain work.” But the next day, he and Chris came prepared, got right to work, and completed the entire project in one day. It would have been best to list the labor separate from the materials after the job is complete. Next time try and separate your labor rates on your actual invoices. Your accounting/billing system (Service Titan) will allow you to do that. I know time spent waiting for parts at the supply houses in Flagstaff take time and are always billed at the same rate. They did show up as scheduled, and clearly had the experience needed for a job like this. We will definitely use them again.

Gold Star was great to work with. Easy to schedule and showed up on time. Mike M. was awesome! He took the time to explain what he was looking at and gave his recommendations. Mike addressed the issue promptly! And he was awesome with my 2 year old who was interested in seeing what was going on. We will certainly use Gold Star in the future!
