After an experience with a local plumber who couldn’t resolve an emergency that stopped us from using water or sewer in our apartment complex, inconveniencing, both, us and our tenants…we went without water and sewer from seven o’clock that morning until the following day!!! We called Gold Star the evening of the first day and immediately spoke with Ann who understood our issues completely! She scheduled us for an assessment the following morning, with actual repairs scheduled for that afternoon. On the morning of the assessment, Clay, the technician, called me before eight o’clock an said he would see me shortly, he was expedient and reflected a high level of professionalism, warmth (especially on an extremely cold an wet day), and understanding!!! From the moment he introduced himself, explained the process, provided an estimate for the possible repair, and product knowledge, we were amazingly impressed! Upon his initial inspection, Clay, also, answered all of our questions intelligently, helping us understand a variety of issues we had been dealing with. At that point, we decided to do a more thorough investigation and repair, which he said he could start immediately!!! We were ecstatic!!! Upon approval of the new estimate, he began an extremely detailed assessment using a camera and an iPad to reflect the condition of our downline, the exact location of the blockage, and the condition of our sewer-line. We were impressed by Clay’s explanation of what needed to be done, both, short-term and long term! After the explanation, he began hydro-jetting our downline, our upline, and all seven roof vents on our property, including our waste-line on our kitchen sink!!! He cleared all invasive roots, cleaned and flushed all lines, removed all blockages and then videoed the mainline. He went on to show us how thorough his expertise and equipment had left our system in pristine condition!!! He then inspected the property, put away his tools, secured all of his equipment, cleaned up all work areas completely, and walked the area with us explaining the work that had been completed. He discussed future issues needing attention, and the level and quality of repair that could be done!!! Again, we were impressed and extremely comfortable with the absolute quality and outcome Clay exhibited throughout the day until the job was done!!! We anyone could leap tall buildings, walk on water, and be faster than a speeding bullet, both, Clay and Gold Star would fit the description!!! Thank you Clay and thank you Gold Star!!! Corbin DeLisle did an excellent and professional job of assessing our two leaky bathroom faucets and suggesting optional methods...repair vs replace. There was not much of a difference between the two so we chose replace. Much to our pleasant surprise, he mentioned one option was for Gold Star to provide and install the faucets OR we could purchase the faucets and he could come back and install them and save money. We decided to purchase them ourselves. Again much to our pleasant surprise he pulled up the website for two local hardware stores and helped us find the make and model we wanted and verified that they were in stock. I was able to get them and reschedule anothee visit with Corbin the next day for the installation, which was well done. Outside of this, Corbin gave us great explanation of all the services Gold Star provides and told us about a comprehensive annual membership package that you provide. We signed up for it.

MUNDS PARK Excellent service from start to finish. I had a leak on my water line near the meter and was able to dig it up and diagnose the issue myself, but needed a professional to handle the actual repair. Michael Kjenstad from Gold Star Plumbing & Drain showed up quickly, confirmed everything I found, and repaired the valve properly without trying to upsell or add unnecessary work. Michael was honest, efficient, and clearly highly skilled. The company was just as great — responsive, fair, and easy to work with. I genuinely appreciated the integrity and professionalism. I’ll definitely call Gold Star Plumbing & Drain again for any future plumbing needs.
