Super pleased with the service and repair we received from J&M Plumbing Hearing & Air. They came highly recommended from our friends (Abby and Arion) as a second opinion when we received news from another service provider who said we needed a whole new system (furnace and air conditioner). Granted our system is 9 years old, but we hadn’t had any significant problems to date. And we had spent a lot of money (in 2016) on what we hoped would be 15-20 year system. During a routine check-up, the other provider found a small crack in our heat exchanger - which I know is a big deal. Cost to replace the heat exchangers was north of $5k, but a new HVAC system (recommended) was north of $21k! We decided to go with J&M because their quote for repair was $1k less than the comp - south of $5k. And replacement was $2-3k less. They supported our decision to replace the heat exchangers. Gilbert was amazing throughout the entire process - quote through repair. He was honest, professional, thorough, and super knowledgeable - taking time to explain the process along the way. At one point in the repair, something wasn’t working - that was previously working. Rather than make a quick decision and just replace more parts and charge me more, he figured out the problem and fixed it easily with no additional charge. I appreciated Gilbert’s integrity, excellent work ethic, and cheery nature! Now we know why our friends had recommended J&M and we have found a new HVAC/plumbing service provider! We had a leak because our drain line cracked. We called J & M and they sent a plumber (Nick) out that day. They gave us a very fair price for a bathroom remodel and new water heater. They fit us in to their schedule and we were able to get all the work done right before Christmas. Nick was very knowledgeable and did phenomenal work. We will definitely use this company again in the future!

I called J & M Plumbing for an appointment to unclog a bathroom sink. The receptionist was very helpful and considerate. Plumber Nick showed up right on time and worked on the sink, he cleaned up after himself and he was very knowledgeable, professional, and very nice to work with. We then asked if he could look at another sink if he had the time to do it. He did and fixed it perfectly like the other one. I strongly recommend this company, they are honest and pricing was within the margin we thought it would be. We have been taken by Action plumbing and that company is being sued for ripping off customers.

Gilbert was extremely knowledgeable and very informative. You could tell he cared very much about the work and service he was to perform. I would highly recommend this company. Both owners spoke with me and one came on site to inspect the work that was being performed.

J&M is top notch! They’re always on time and fairly prices. They did a great job relocating HVAC pipes that were in the way of our new deck. I highly recommend J&M and will use them for any future projects!

I have never had a better experience with a contractor. Nick and Gilbert were just great all around the board. I will be telling everyone I know about my experience. I had quotes from Anyhour services, Whipple, and Black Diamond. And felt like I had been talking to a used car salesman. If you want a great product, great service, and a much better price, try J & M. They are honest, upfront, and a pleasure to work with. I am a client for life! They installed a water heater at my home and today just did an AC, Furnace, and water heater in one day at my condo and it looks great, as well as running great! Now a new AC at the house. I’m we needed a new water softener and pressure valve installed in our home. Nick was on time and very professional and the work was competed on time. Highly recommend.
