We were selling our home when it was discovered there was a "belly" in the PVC sanitary sewer pipe which happened to run under our garage floor. While the pipe was not causing any immediate issues, the repair was needed quickly as it was holding up the sale of the home. Matt sent his team out quickly to give us an estimate and then scheduled the work to be done within 2 weeks. Communication was excellent. The team showed up on time and were great in explaining to me each step of the process so that I could understand what they were doing. It was a two day job that requiring removing a section of the garage floor, replacing 16' of pipe, and then restoring the floor. At the end of the first day, the team cleaned up the work area which, honestly, I didn't expect. They came back the next day to finish the work and restore the area - and again cleaned up the work area when they were finished. The repair itself was done in the timeframes quoted and they stayed within the budget of the quote. No surprises. My preference was to work with a local business and Meyers came recommended by several neighbors. They were an excellent choice and I would recommend them for future plumbing work.

Installed a Mini Split system and was initially pleased with the timeliness. 3 units on my 2nd floor were installed with condensation pumps that make noise 4x louder than the manufacturer brochure indicates. I complained 2 weeks after installation and the installer came out to inspect and told me it was “normal”. I thought maybe I just had turned the temperature down too quickly but as the Summer progressed, and the temperature outside went up, the noise also increased so much that I couldn’t sleep with the noise. And, the pumps go off every 10-15 minutes - cascading through 3 bedrooms. Jim Meyers and Sons has not taken responsibility and pawns the problem off on “that is the pump my distributor sent”. Says that no one has EVER complained about the noise. I have videos I posted on FB to get feedback from friends - some of them in this industry - all of them say this is not a normal noise. Jim Meyers and Sons started swapping out the pumps with a smaller pump that is slightly quieter but will now make a sound every 5 minutes because the reservoir is a portion of the size of the other pump. I told them that can’t be the right solution and they wiped their hands of me - leaving me with 2 huge pumps making super loud noises every 15 minutes and one small pump going off every 5 minutes with holes in my wall from the bigger pump. They are pawning me off to call the distributor myself or to reach out to the manufacturer. I hired them to be experts. This noise is not normal. They are gaslighting me to say it’s my problem and walking away with almost $14,000 while I have a system that isn’t acceptable for residential use.

I can't say enough positive things about Matt & his team. We have used them on 3 separate occasions now, most recently a repair to a toilet placement after a previous contractor failed to properly secure the flange. They are quick, affordable and I felt safe having them in my home. I will happily call them again in the future if needed.

If this plumbing service offers to replace the inner working of your toilet. Don’t do it. Ask to see it. If you see it has that red rubber ring I have pictured, it is junk. It keeps dislodging and the toilet will just keep running and not fill up. Both of our toilets were running fine for 30 years without issue. When they repair man can to replace the bottom ring at the floor, he upsold my wife to also replace the inner working with new. Now every month I have to shut the water off and get in there and try to put that red ring back into position. And it is not easy. Don’t flush the toilet and go to bed as you may wake up and find it still running in the morning. The red ring keeps periodically dislodging. They blame us for everything with an entire list of scenarios. We did TWO TOILETS that both have this problem. This started acting up almost immediately. The repair man returned twice and all he does it put the red ring back on. We got charged for one of the return trips. You would think they would have replaced the entire guts of the toilet with more of a quality inner workings once they realize this may be an issue. I suspect they purchased a shipment of this inner toilet workings out of China. They know it’s a problem and just push it off on customers as an up-sale so they don’t get stuck with them. Remember IF YOU SEE THAT RED RING, DON’T BUY IT. . Update 10/06/25 My wife had to wait for me to return home from work to put this red ring back into position AGAIN. Send someone to my house to replace this junk inner toilet working. The red rubber ring will not stay seated. This is on two my three toilets you guy upsold my wife on. My third toilet same as these before you guy worked on them worked fine from 1989. Come replace this junk inner toilet working you put in my home as an up sale. I paid twice to fix this. I am not paying a third time. These two toilets worked fine until your guy upsold me wife Update#2 11/07/25 Guess what? The red rubber ring I have picture fell of its seated position again on the same toilet. My wife had to wait for me to come home from work to put it back on its position. The last time it fell off was 30 days ago. The toilet just keeps running water and never fills up when this ring is off. At this rate it will come loose again around the first week in December. Update #3 11/29/25 Almost make it to December. Wife flushed toilet and went to bed. Red Ring came off again. Good thing I heard the toilet non-stop running. Had to place red ring back into position and its not real easy to do so. See you again around Christmas I figure Update #4 12/20/25. Well, the red ring did not make until Christmas. It fell off position again. Problem is, it is not easy to put pack into position because I can’t figure out how to remove that tubing piece that sends water down that silo that fills the bowel back up. So, I have to reach around the down plunger and it’s very difficult. Shame, after paying money on an up sale to replace something that worked for over 30 years and now have to deal with this. It like that old saying, “If it is not broke don’t fix it” You would thing at this point they would send someone to correct this. I would even pay for new higher quality parts. You can tell a lot about a company on how they handle when things go wrong. I can not find it reasonable to pay a third time to have this corrected. I can’t even embarrass these people to come fix it with these posting. This isn’t like I am asking to replace anything expensive, it is guts in a toilet. The product they used is cheap junk probably out of China. They probably have a truck load of it they need to dump on someone. You try to patronize the local Mom and Pop independent establishments and it goes well until something goes wrong. This is a little wrong that can be corrected pretty easily. Just think if something big went wrong

We wanted to both upgrade an existing full bathroom and also have a newly created full bathroom added in the basement. We weren’t sure how to start. The wonderful ladies at Jim Meyers Plumbing showroom walked us through everything and asked all the right questions. We were able to walk into the displays and see and touch our options and not just look online or in a catalog. Vanities, showers, bath tubs, and toilets were all there. Big help to see this stuff in real life. Spencer and Michael took care of the water lines and drains and those kind of things. Very polite and always on time. Cleaned up after the job too. Matt Fawley came and did the tile work and finishing touches and both bathrooms couldn’t look any better. Great price and overall experience. Would give ten stars if I could.

I received 5-star service from Jim Meyers Plumbing, again! I rehired the plumbers and again received fast, affordable, and professional installation of a kitchen faucet. Zack arrived on time and installed new shutoffs and a faucet I purchased in about a hour. These repairs fixed a stubborn leak under the sink. I will definitely recommend and rehire Jim Meyers Plumbing. Thanks again to the crew for the prompt and professional plumbing services. Wayne Carringer
