Very transparent and honest but a very strange way of doing business. Would not step foot into the house unless was paid initial fee. Cash only, no flexibility on check or electronic payment. Snaked and charged way over what a traditional snaking job would cost. Claims the services provided exceeded the $400 paid however all he did was snake the main sewage line and in another spot in the kitchen. I asked for pictures of where he would recommend putting clean outs in sewage lines but he would not do it whatsoever. Ultimately, overpriced and quality of work was poor. He asked my tenants to help him. 10/10 would not recommend.

We suddenly found ourselves with a flooded carpet and no clue where the leak was coming from. Jim Strauss came out on a Saturday afternoon and spent a lot of time trying to diagnose where the water was coming from, which wasn’t exactly easy as the pipes in our type of house don’t run normal. He had to cut into our ceiling and made certain to make the nicest cuts possible for us to be able to make simple, easy repairs on our own to save us a lot of money. He spent a lot of time trying to figure out what turned out to be one heck of a puzzle. And for how much work and effort he put into everything, he charged us such a reasonable price! This guy is definitely about doing the work, doing it right and not about making his wallet fat. Anytime I need a plumber, I know why I’m going to call from now on! Best plumber in the area!
