Total lack of communication. We called shortly after they opened and got the answering service. Then called back 40 min later to also get answering service left name and #, was told they would call when a tech was available. Called in after lunch was able to talk to receptionist and they refused job. Couldn't call earlier we had to call back in. Never had any problems in past.... guess now no more referrals and no more business from us.

If you didn't call them yet....run while you still can! Hopefully this post can save a future victim. We had MC Plum come out to fix a minor pin hole leak that dripped maybe once every 30 seconds. Their "technician" was supposed to call us on their way there. Turns out the "technician" is the owners son, and he never called on the way there. Fast forward to later that afternoon, we get a text from our tenant that he can't take a shower. Come to find out the owner's son took it upon himself to disconnect the entire shower which had nothing to do with the minor leak they were initially called for. What should have been a minor repair turned into a new leak, new damages, and new incomplete work that was created by their "technician." Pics attached at how the owner's son left everything. They never called us to let us know what was going on and now we have tenants that can't shower until we can bring out a new plumber to put everything back together.

Very poor customer service. Called to request service for repair work on Beckett fuel oil furnace for leaking fuel. The lady who answers the phone asked if it was an emergency and I told her no due to furnace being in an outdoor garage. Receptionist told me she would call me back after she talked to her techs. After two hours I still did not receive a call, so I called back in asking for an update. She said well you said it wasn’t an emergency and she is still waiting to hear from her techs. I notified her it wasn’t an immediate emergency but something I wanted repaired in a reasonable timeframe and asked her how long it took to reach her techs to know whether or not they could perform the services. I could sense she was irritated I called back in to request an update. She stated she would reach her tech to see if they could do the job or not. Approximately 10 mins later she called me back to tell me it wasn’t a job they could do. I thanked them for their time. It was just a bad experience to deal with the lady who answers the phone. Wasn’t friendly and wouldn’t offer services within their scope. I’ve had other oil burner furnaces serviced by them in the past, so I know they can offer the services. I can’t say for certain but I feel she refused the job out of spite. I will no longer choose this company based off this experience.

Photos of non cleanup of water and grass they left after installing water heater. Owner has no customer skills and will hang up on you rather than answer your questions. Had water heater installed that was under warranty. It ended up costing me over half the of what it cost the first time of a water heater that was under warranty for 5 yrs but did not even last 4.

I called because we assumed we probably had a leak with our AC unit since we've had to have it filled with freon several times. They charged $125 to come out then put some freon in the unit for another $200 only to tell me they have to come back out to figure out where the leak may be. They put in so we'd "be able to use our unit". I don't know why they didn't try to figure out where the leak was because it was 50-60 degrees that week and we didn't need our AC. I was called back and told it would be $450 to start a work order for this service to find the leak; uh no thank you! I called Rodney B. Smith and they charged $90 to come out and in less than 10 minutes, the tech figured out where the leak was! I will never use nor recommend MC Plum again!!!
