We hired Merit Plumbing to install a new water softener system, under sink RO water filtration and a new gas hot water heater. After getting several quotes, we chose Merit due to the tech, Donnie, solutions. The were the only company to offer to run softener's loop lines under our front sidewalk. Every other company said the lines needed to be run overhead, which would have required us to paint them. Additionally they rebuilt front PRV and spigot. We greatly appreciated the way they cleaned up each day. It was like they were never there. I can't recommend Merit Plumbing highly enough.

Tried to upsell me on work I didn’t need. They told me I had to replace parts of my main line, which would’ve been an expensive job. I was skeptical, so I called another plumber for a second opinion. The second plumber confirmed the pipes were fine and no replacement was necessary.

A couple of years ago Merit diagnosed and repaired our sewer drainage problems very quickly and professionally. We then had them line our pipes, which was also completed very efficiently and professionally. In February, 2023, we had another plumbing backup issue, so we again called Merit and they promptly responded and diagnosed the problem. Chris and Mike are very professional, fair and honest to work with. Merit did not charge us for the recent problem, because it was related to the previous issue. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Recommended by a friend I was directed to Michael DeFrates at Merit Plumbing to fix an issue ( non urgent) I was having with my Rinnai Tankless Water heaters. Michael was able to visit my home, diagnose my issue and complete the work within a matter of a couple of days. Michael was prompt, professional and tidy in his work.....I would highly recommend Michael and Merit Plumbing.

Quick response and excellent service. Found the issue (not surprised to find the pipe needed jetting after 30 years of auto shop sludge going down the drain) and ordered parts. Came back and completed repair and drain jetting for a reasonable price. Will definitely call again for our plumbing needs
