BEWARE!!! Called on a Friday afternoon about my water heater leaking and said it was a warranty. Was told I would have to pay labor so I asked how much was the labor and was told $125 an hour. I asked how long it would take to replace it and was told about an hour so I set the appointment for Monday. Of course now that they know it is an emergency the price JUMPED to $420 for labor and an upgrade price for the heater of $150. I had completely drained the heater and turned off the water and gas so it only took 2 guys 1/2 hour to remove and install. The owner Dan would not budge on the HUGE overcharge because he knew it was an emergency and he could charge whatever he wanted. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! You can have anyone do your warranty work or just regular work and not get ripped off like you would with this place. Update: To make things worse I discovered that they did NOT put teflon tape on gas line when they reinstalled it and I have had a horrendous smell for months since they installed my water heater and it has made me ill. I fixed that problem and now have no smell. This could have been very dangerous and could have caused my home to explode or me to get very sick. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED RIGHT AND STAY SAFE!!!!!!!

I had my water heater go out on Saturday March 26th and called at 10:30 am to Mountainside plumbing who installed my water heater 5 years ago. I waited for a couple of hours and no call back so I called again and left another message. I called another place and had my water heater installed within 2 hrs. at 6:30 that night the technician from mountainside called and apologized for not knowing I called. He said that he couldn't have got me a water heater till Monday anyway. I guess if you have a problem during normal business hours they can help you. Just don't call with an emergency.

My water heater went out before warranty expired. It was a Bradford White brand. After calling around to the big names you see online/hear on the radio, you know what I mean for local plumbing radio ads, I had two bids from those companies price me at over $3,000 to do a warranty swap... I decided to email the company on my install documents for when we bought our home. Mountain Side Plumbing responded quickly and broke it all down clearly. It was a warranty situation where I just needed to pay installation. A few hundred dollars for the following: pick up the new water heater, swap out my broken one, adjusted my water pressure after it was messed with from my soft water install by a third party (major reason my other WH broke), and stabilize my water hammer mechanism... all after being quoted thousands from other companies. Mountain Side Plumbing answered the call and I've since referred others to them because of their upfront and transparent approach. 10/10 recommend.

I want to give an amazing 5 stars to mountain side plumbing they were quick to respond and very professional they came on a last min notice and fixed my toilet that sprung a leak. I highly recommend giving these guys a call! Will definitely be calling them for future needs.
