My hot water heater had to be replaced. It was leaking (from corrosion) and wasn't working anymore. It had 19 years of service, which was very good, especially because I did not flush it every other year as they recommended. Lime builds up in the hot water heater in time because of the hard water in Moon Township and eventually the sludge (lime) corrodes the hot water heater. Josh Farabaugh and his helper Jose came very quickly to help me. I called them the night before and they came the next day, which I wanted. I lived without the hot water and using towels for the water leakage overnight. Josh and Jose were quick, professional and very courteous. My hot water heater was replaced, and the water feed valves were brought up to code for Allegheny County.

If I could rate this it would be in the minuses I had Mr Rooter come to my house about 3 years ago. Thinking that heck they've been around a long time they must be good but I was wrong. They didn't finish the job in fact they tried to get more money out of me by saying that I had roots in the pipes going out to the from the house. Even showed my son this video with pipes with numerous roots in the pipe. When I was at work they were trying to contact me but I had my phone turned off because we had had a meeting and I needed to be on silent. So when I realized they were trying to call me I called the second crew guy back. He proceeded to tell me this that there was numerous roots coming from the house and it would cost another $8,000 to complete the work and I told him on the phone just finished the job I can't do another $8,000. He told me that they had left the job already and I would need to reschedule. So I did reschedule twice. Each time they showed up at my house when I wasn't there and it was not the time that was agreed upon that was scheduled. And I could not get them to come back again to finish the job so one thing led to another and I didn't have the money to get it done. But they left that job with a hole in my basement. And since then I've really not had the money to get it fixed. So anyone out there ...beware. and the first guy that did the work from the top of where the bathroom is all the way down to the groundwork told me to make sure that I am here for the second crew to come finish the groundwork. And now I see why because they tried to scam me. People beware. Just because a company has been around for years and years ever since I was a kid I heard Mr Rooter. Doesn't mean they're a reputable company

Bryan Bell: Did a fantastic job . Our Hot Water Heater Took A Die, On Christmas Day Of All Days. I thought the pilot light went out on the Hot Water Tank. He was able to fix our Sink in the kitchen, and our Toilet for our Main Bathroom Down Stairs Main Level of our house because it was not filling up with water. He order the Hot Water Tank yesterday, so we had to wait for the Hot Water Tank the Next day which is December 27TH, 2024 to be sent to the shop wherever Bryan Bell had to pick up the Hot Water Tank at. So my guess it took over a 8 hour job to finish this job, and I Thank You for your service. From Mark A. Palmer.

Tyler, Caleb and Quinn were absolutely amazing! Super polite and friendly. They were very patient and understanding when the job ended up being bigger than expected. They deserve a raise for having to get in that crawlspace. If we ever need more plumbing done we'll definitely be calling back!

Had to redo all the work they did after paying around $3,000 dollars. We had a bursted pipe. The connectors they did were cheap and weak. A year later, I had to fix all the connectors. The professional plumbers who came in after to give quotes were way more knowledgable. If the price had been affordable, I could look the other way, but at this price, it should not have been this problematic. They send inexperienced, young plumbers.

Do you think it should cost $975.00 - a $100.00 coupon total cost of $875.00 just to replace a main line valve, which only took 1& 1/2 hours to install? They say PROUDLY one flat rate on their website. However they won't tell you what it is on the phone. The plumbers were excellent but the PRICE GAUGING WAS RIDICULOUS. And did I mention it was sitting right there in my basement, NOT UNDERGROUND!!! Google it to see how much they say it SHOULD COST YOU. It was a PLAIN SHUT OFF VALVE that they had in their truck.
