I cannot stress enough what a great experience this was. Kelly was fantastic and well informed. He answered all of my questions and thoroughly assessed my issue and did the work after a detailed consultation and quote. He did the service the same day he came out, as he was able to, and left the area clean and clearly labeled. The service fee of $89 is included in the cost of services if they do the work for you, which is fair enough considering they come out and look at everything. Our home is 130 years old and im very protective of her and I am so thrilled to have found "our guy for that" when it comes to HVAC and plumbing. I was also pleasantly surprised at the end cost and honestly, the knowledge alone was worth it. Seriously stop your search and give them a call. Off to text like 3 of my friends who just bought houses about Proudfoot plumbing. Adding- Kelly was wonderful with our dog who can be a bit of a pain to new guests (german shepherd). That was a huge anxiety of mine that was quickly put at ease.

Update 2/8/23: I had Proudfoot come and install another tankless water heater at our new house. Painless process, they were done within a few days of my initial request. I highly recommend these guys to anyone in need of their services. I have nothing but good things to say about Proudfoot. They replaced our old cast iron boiler with a combi-unit that acts as both boiler and on-demand water heater, and it works great. It's more efficient, saves money on gas, and provides unlimited hot water. They also fixed some long standing issues with our plumbing. The owner Hugh Williams was straightforward, knowledgeable and honest, and clearly took a lot of pride in doing the job right. Highly recommended! I will certainly be calling up Proudfoot for any plumbing or heating issues I encounter in the future.

I'm very happy with my tankless water heater install done by Proudfoot! When I first called to inquire about switching to tankless, I talked to Hugh. He took his time and walked me through all of the things to consider when switching to tankless, even reasons why I might not want to do this. He had no problem getting into the technical details of how the systems worked. On install day, the installers got straight to work. They were very thorough in their work, and even removed some old plumbing that was no longer needed and streamlined the pipes in the basement. The work took the better part of a day and by late afternoon they were finished. I'm pleased with the result as I have more space in my basement and I can't even tell the difference with the tankless heater. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking to switch to a tankless water heater.
