I originally had to set it up for an emergency call. They called me back and stated they could save me some money by putting the call in as a regular appointment. They did not have to call me back and change the appointment. Amazing. Thank you. Work was completed in a timely manner. We will be back and I will recommend them to everyone.

This is the 4th time I've used them since buying this house. Tony and Chad put a new hot water heater in. They were fantastic. Tony explained everything he was doing to me since I knew nothing about hot water heaters. I cannot say enough good about them. When they call to notify me when they are coming, they are so kind. The service persons are exceptional. They aren't trying to "scam" with unnecessary repairs. They are the only ones i will use. Great service!

We purchased a new home and 3 days after moving in found a gas leak. We called multiple plumbers around the area and got estimates for the fix. Of the three companies that were rated high, I have to say Reading was the most affordable. All companies need to make profit and this is understood. But I am disappointed in the Plumbing companies in Peoria, they quote high. Reading quoted us 12 hours worth of labor, 1 and a 1/2 days total. The agent spent 1 hour to find the issue which was deemed a service call and when the quote was presented, this was not included, the estimate was for parts and 12 hours of labor was stated. Work started at 8:15 and they were our leaving our driveway at 2:30. They were really good during those hours and we appreciate both of them who did the work. I spoke with the manager about the labor charge which is 215/hr for 2 plumbers and asked how we are going to be billed. They were kind enough to take this into consideration; however they charged us for 9 1/2 hours of labor, stating that agent spent 2 1/2 hours during the service call and the remaining hours were spent in gathering the parts and spending time with the manager discussing the issue. So, yes Reading and sons is the better company in Peoria, compared to the others one who wanted us to buy a new water heater from him despite the water heater being under warranty and the other just outright wanted 7K to replace 4 pipes, and charge additional for the water heater. This long review is aimed at improving integrity, and transparency these businesses provide to customers. Would I recommend Reading, yes, but I would give everyone a heads up to discuss the estimated costs upfront and understand how they split the charges so you are not disappointed when you see the final bill.
