Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Extremely disappointed with Roto-Rooter (Glendale, AZ). We were quoted $420 for labor to replace a standard electric water heater (the heater was part of a guarantee from other company, so this was just labor). Without any notice, my wife’s card was charged $1,444.26 — over three times the quoted price. No one explained the price increase before taking payment. The installation left drywall damage, debris, and stains, and even after visiting the local office and contacting corporate, nothing was resolved. The manager offered a small $200 refund that never went through, and no one ever followed up as promised. This company showed zero transparency or accountability. Paying premium rates for poor workmanship and no customer support is unacceptable. Get everything in writing if you decide to use them — or better yet, find a different licensed contractor.

Mark with with Roto Rooter came out on a Saturday after our water heater tank leaked all over the garage floor, and we decided to go with a tankless water heater. After some delay from Home Depot for parts, mak came back out on Tuesday and exchanged our tank out. mark do an amazing job, always on time, very patient, attention to detail was top notch. Over all I am happy with the service roto rooter provided, I would definitely recommend to my neighbors.

Mark with Roto-Rooter was great! He came out last minute to help us with a water heater issue and fixed it quickly. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to help us understand what caused our issues as well. He even did some extra things he didn’t have to without tacking on extra $$, which we really appreciated. We would 100% have Mark out again and highly recommend him.

Mark took extra time to make sure everything was working properly before he left, which I really appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about doing the job right, not just getting it done quickly. Kwame from Roto-Rooter was so kind and willing to work with me, especially given the complications of working with a property management company to arrange the work and get it approved by the owner. He came to my rental house, very far from his home and main office, three times in two days to make sure this got done, and one of the times brought a water restoration supervisor (Michael, who was also awesome) with him, as there is water damage in the walls and floors from the leak the now-dead water heater caused all over my place’s storage room. At all times, he was professional yet friendly, directly honest yet sympathetic, and knowledgeable without talking down to me or flooding me with jargon (I know relatively little about plumbing).
