Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

We would like to thank Kenny for a job well done. The response time was very fast. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and able to resolve the problem. He made sure that we were satisfied with the job before leaving.

I called roto rooter to fix my water heater. They claimed to offer free estimates. I also needed two drains looked at so figured they could look at those while I was there. After the guy got there he looked for about 15 minutes at the water heater and told me it was $200 to assess the water heater. He also wanted to charge me $700 to clear my 2 drains, and $1200 to fix my water heater. Thankfully, I contacted a competitor and they gave me a truly free estimate which was half the price that roto rooter quoted and did both drains for $190. Do not use roto rooter, they are a scam! *Update* I spoke with the manager and he said that once the tech has to touch something it is no longer an estimate and will cost money. I do not know how someone can give an estimate if they don't unplug or plug in the water heater to see what sounds it is making at the very least. His only comment was they were the oldest plumbing company so they must be doing something right. Stay away from them at all costs, several other companies charge 50% less and will actually give you a free estimate.

Had a fantastic experience with the technician (Kyle). Very friendly and was happy to share his expertise with future considerations we should be aware of. Also very knowledgeable in the work he did do at our home and also showed us photos of the diagnostic tests he performed.
