Michael was the technician and did a fantastic job. Very polite, wore shoe covers as requested, and completed the job without issue. He even advised on peripheral issues and gave thorough feedback while doing the work. I was prepared to give him 5 stars, until I later discovered that the price was ridiculous and basically totally an abuse of the situation. Shame on me for not doing my due diligence in price investigation but I had foolishly assumed that a large company like Roto-rooter would give a reasonably fair price. I accept a certain amount of uptick as the cost of being lazy and don't quibble about a 10-20% difference. But $665 for about 25 min of work is just absurd. Job involved snaking the shower stall drain, a distance of about 10-12 ft to the larger diameter toilet drain. No major sewer work, no camera work. Simple snake job. The service was outstanding, from scheduling to job completion. The master plumber thecnitian, Ishmael, executed a highly professional job: 1. Attentively listened to my description of the problem. 2. Carefully inspected and assessed the site. 3. Provide me with his assesment information and alternative solutions to the problem. 4. Clearly and straight forward informed me the cost involved. 5. Once I make my choice, he reexamened the site and consulted a second expert opinion. 6. During the execution of the job he runned several test as well as several at the job completion. From his approach to the problem, and the conversation with his Supervisor, it was clear to me that integrity, knowledge and to do the best for the client are their policies and goals. A second thecnitian came to secure the toilet to the floor, which he did, but didn't solve the debris material that were coming outflow on the toilet. This issue was old concrete breaking. A third party solve the problem by fallowing the solutions I suggested.

John resolved a long standing issue that we inherited when we bought our home and did so quickly and professionally. He advised us on future steps to ensure we don't run into this issue again and charged a very reasonable rate. We're pleased with the care that he took in our home and we'd call him again for future plumbing needs.
