I had a great experience with Schoonover Plumbing & Heating! From the start, Chad was fantastic over the phone—super friendly and helpful, answering all my questions about the reverse osmosis system installation. Jake, the plumber who came out, was early (which was a nice surprise) and made sure to walk me through every step of the installation. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, making sure I understood how the system worked before he left. I called Dan at Schoonover Plumbing about replacing my water heaters. He was knowledgeable and very informative about Al my options. Due to my schedule, I was not able to take the next day installation date but took on a couple days later. The technician installed and cleaned up afterwards. I am extremely pleased with the job. This is what $32,000 gets you when you do business with Schoonover - incompetence in how to read architectural plans, unfinished jobs ($125 for the valve under the sink, the plumber told me to go to Home Depot to get the parts to finish the connection as he had done all he was doing), a floating vanity to most plumbers means the plumbing comes up through the wall, not the floor, so as to hide the piping, not to Schoonover though. This was the case with all four vanities, funny that the electricians could get the wiring and switches right and the tile guy knew how to measure for tile, just not the Schoonover. The plumber also connected my total house water filter (filters out the tastes from our well water) after the water softener so that it bypassed the drinking water/ice maker in the kitchen, but at least I had good tasting water in the toilets... When I requested that the filter be moved to filter the whole house (hence the name a whole house water filter), Schoonover gave me the finger and spliced the kitchen sinks/ refrigerator etc into the main line after the water softener. If you want to deal with lying, incompetent people, Schoonover is your company. If you want a quality installation, go somewhere else.

I cannot recommend Schoonover Plumbing company enough. After another company quoted me over $1,900+ to replace an entire shower valve — which would have also required cutting into my slate tile shower wall — this company took the time to properly diagnose the issue and discovered the valve itself was NOT faulty. It was simply the cartridge that needed to be replaced. Not only did they save me over $1,600+, but they also spared me from unnecessary damage and reconstruction to my shower tile. It’s rare these days to find companies that prioritize honesty and proper diagnosis over pushing expensive repairs that aren’t actually needed. Their professionalism, integrity, and expertise saved me a huge amount of money and stress. I’m incredibly grateful and would absolutely use them again and recommend them to others.

This was our first opportunity to use the services of Schoonover Plumbing & Heating and we were very pleased with the service provided. We had concerns with a possible malfunctioning water heater. Jesse, the plumber assigned to our service call, was prompt, professional and personable. He drained our water heater and in the process discovered we had a faulty pressurization tank that was filled with water instead of air! Thankfully he was able to replace the tank, mount it securely, and reconnect the water lines all in a single visit. We would not hesitate to call Schoonover again for any plumbing or heating repairs. 5 stars

They got me in early because I had a semi-emergency. Pound the problem I was having was different than the one I thought I had. Fixed it quickly and thoroughly, all while $1000 less than the other bus I got. Can't beat that.
