We had some very old washer shut off valves needing replacement. We were no longer able to turn them off and they were leaking. We called Smedley and they sent Layne out within 24 hours. Layne went above and beyond! He was very patient and knowledgeable with all of my questions and concerns. Smedley is unlike any plumbing service we’ve used in the past. They are honest and price is always reasonable. Thanks Layne for being super kind and helpful!! We appreciate you guys!

Our furnace and a/c lasted longer than expected but finally had to be replaced. Got a couple of bids, and felt best with Smedleys. Kyle was great to answer questions and made sure we knew our options. Install was easy and clean. Follow-up on rebates was consistent. Grateful and comfortable with a system that should last us another long time.

I love that Smedley’s is still a homegrown, local company that’s been in the HVAC/Plumbing business for generations. They were able to offer the industry’s best equipment (Lennox) for our HVAC system upgrade at one of the best prices around (and we met with 6 companies in the process). They were very knowledgeable in helping us transition from our very old AC and furnace to a new, energy efficient and low carbon emission hybrid fuel pump/furnace combo, complete with all the manufacturer/utility company rebates submitted on our behalf and talked us through how to claim our tax rebate when we file next year (and none too soon since that credit goes away after 2025). The install crew was on-time, friendly, professional, efficient and had our system swapped out with the new one up and running in a day, including updating our electrical and programming our thermostat. We are loving our new system!

I recently found myself in need of a new furnace, I called at 9am and the service crew was there before noon! After shopping around and planning my finances, I called on a Tuesday and had a new heater by Thursday! Layne arrived right on time and I was given a call in advance to let me know that he was on his way. He inspected my water heater (8 years old) and determined that it needed to be replaced.
