Anthony from Longacre was great. Having only purchased our home a year and a half ago, and never having well water prior, he took the time to explain the functionality of the well pumps, how they work together, and make several recommendations on how we could resolve our issues. While our initial call was only for an aged leaking pipe, he was able to easily identify other, related issues that we needed to address timely. Longacre quickly completed the job, were timely from a scheduling standpoint, and we would certainly recommend and use again in the future.

We are currently remodeling our basement and sink and bathroom downstairs of our home and three bathrooms upstairs. It has been an upsetting experience working with this company to date as they are not finished. The owner is currently asking for more money telling up the job is over fifty percent finished? They sold us a fully functional sink/ hutch. While be installed they damage the piece ( tried to hide it with paint did not tell us ) we saw and took pictures they did not know this and tried to cover it up behind our backs, and now we find the sink is not usable as the paint is chipping off the sink and now we are told another sink will not fit unless we replace the countertop. Wanting us to pay to replace this after buying this new only to find out it’s not a usable sink?! Why would we replace a sink with something that is not usable? Now the basement is still not finished and they moved upstairs to start remodeling a large bathroom upstairs and have yet to finish the bathroom, sink, ceilings, electric in the basement. We have given them close to $100,000 plus and now they’re asking for more money telling us the projects are more than fifty percent finished?! This takes a lot of nerve. We had them put new plumbing in our home and they never finished that project correctly. Toilet plumbing sticking out of walls behind the toilet, walls cut into and replaced with caps that fall off the wall as they do not fit correctly as the wall was cut to big. We had a guy walk off our project for a day and the company condoned this? ( it was a outside contractor they hired to hang drywall in our basement! ( we were not aware they were going to contract this out we were never informed. The two gentleman that our currently doing our bathrooms are amazing but other then that this has been a nightmare dealing with Longacre. They want another $50,000 and the first project isn’t even done and we are far from satisfied. We also had them install a air compressor in our large AC unit( first time was wired wrong had to send out another technician to rewire the unit as was not done correctly)…only to find after paying all that money after it was installed their worker said the unit is not level ?? Why wouldn’t you level it first? Are answer to that after complaining in this review they would address this issue, this AC unit was worked on over the summer? And suddenly they will address this and they were not aware??? We had several of their technicians look at it and their technician bought this to our attention. We were originally told we’d have to get someone else to level the unit?? If your looking for a home remodel I would think twice before hiring this company. As to date we are far from satisfied. As I said they do have some good workers but the owner of this company is not worried about customer satisfaction just getting his hands on your money. Today I received a email that they missed placed a $41,000 check????? This has been a nightmare. I’d think twice. Wish we had! Update: We were just told they expect 80% deposit on each project at start of labor. Then 20% at completion. So plan on paying almost the entire bill before they even start your project. So plan on if your not satisfied you’ve lost 80% of your money! We bought a display model and they damaged it and tried to cover it up not knowing we took pictures of the damage to date, they stated the damage was so minimal they didn’t think they needed to tell us? Is this professional? We are throughly disgusted and beyond upset. Damage is damage when paying for all new unit.! Also we were just told after posting this review that the new payment policy has changed. Now expect to put down 80% before start of labor! We have paid over 80%plus!!, and still waiting on projects started to be completed and they have started bathrooms upstairs and the downstairs is not completed..! Projects started but never completed. I will keep updating this.

Anthony was great! He was friendly, courteous, punctual, efficient, and knowledgeable. Longacre was ready to send someone out the day after our phone call (it was not an emergency). The installation of the water heater was installed and plumbing done just a little over a week after the initial consultation. We highly recommend Longacre!

I recently had this company perform routine maintenance on my oil furnace, which included a cleaning, oil filter replacement, efficiency testing, and an inspection of the system’s components. The technician did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly explain everything. During the inspection, he identified two issues that may need attention in the near future. The first was the automatic air vent valve, which will eventually need to be replaced. The second was that the electrodes are in poor condition and also need replacement. I asked for a quote for both repairs, but the pricing was extremely high in my opinion, so I declined the work. The quote was $403.85 to replace the automatic air vent valve and $794.75 to replace the electrodes, totaling $1,198.60. That price was honestly shocking to me. To his credit, the technician cleaned the electrodes as best as possible to ensure they remain functional until I decide how to move forward. After reviewing the estimate, I was confused by the pricing. The parts needed can be purchased from Home Depot for under $100, and the components are easily accessible, so I plan to replace them myself. According to the estimate, they were charging over $300 per electrode, which seems excessive. This company still gets 5 stars because they did an excellent job and the tech was very polite.

Anthony did a great job repairing my 25 year old toilet valve that started leaking and the corroded shower drain which was about to become an issue. He was very professional and made sure I understood the work he would be performing. I'm very happy with the results.

I had a team of three for an installation of a split ac/heat unit. From the first meeting with Corey to the final installation with Jordan and Gabe, everything went smoothly. All of them paid close attention to the details that were important to me with installing the system in my home, and I appreciated the assistance with the decisions that went along with the installation. They were all professional from beginning to end. I am very happy with the service and communication.

Longacre recently performed a very extensive electrical upgrade at our farm. Their work was exemplary and their crew were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very thorough. The electrical inspector with 50 years of experience was so impressed he literally said "if you know anyone that needs electrical work you have to recommend them". They went above and beyond.
