Shop around! Jeff was SO unprofessional. The wrong furnace was installed at my 88 year old sister's house. Jeff blamed the company that sent them the furnace claiming it wasn't his fault but their's!!! They did come the next day and put the right one in. It was cold though that night and my sister was afraid to put the temperature high because it was the WRONG furnace. Jeff, in all his compassion for her being cold, said that it was my sister's fault that she didn't call them and ask if she could bump the furnace up higher on the WRONG furnace. AGAIN, not accepting any blame but was quick to blame someone else. Not only VERY unprofessional but also not very compassionate that my 88 year old sister was cold at night!! There was another incident that occurred but the technicians took care of it, NOT a manager. Technicians were nice but because of management, I would NEVER ever recommend them to anyone. Go to a company that appreciates their customers. I would rate them lower than one star if possible!

Their staff & technicians highly professional and very helpful! I have been a happy customer with them for years. After a recent power outage, my furnace stopped working. I called them up and they were able to come quickly to diagnose & fix the problem with my furnace. I highly recommend them for all of your heating & cooling needs. Great company to work with!!!! I had them come out for a leak charged me a lot of money couldn't fix the problem. Had another plumber come out and fix what they couldn't. Then was told I'd get refund if my landlord took down his review my landlord said no only if you get a full refund. Was told by a Manager he would be in touch and possibly give me a refund even if the landlord didn't agree with him that they'd work with me on a refund. Haven't heard from them since paid 450 for nothing! Do not use these ppl they do not follow through highly disappointed 

TJ's Plumbing came out to my rental home on Saltsman Rd for a clogged drain in the basement. They charged my tenant over $400 to attempt clearing the clog. No luck. They spent 2 hours. Then they attempted to sell me on a larger job of ripping up the concrete floor to replace the pipe ($1,500). My intuition led me to call another plumber to take a look. Mr. Rooter went out to the rental property today on Saltsman. He was able to clear it out in 10 minutes - no problem. I paid them a much smaller fee than my tenant paid TJ's the night before. I'm very disappointed in TJs. How can two plumbers, both working together, not figure out how to unplug the line while the other plumber from Mr. Rooters have no problem doing it? My tenant is going to call TJ's tomorrow and ask for a refund on the $400+ they soaked her for the night before. If they don't refund, she is going to submit to BBB and also add a review on here. I would have had my entire basement concrete floor jack hammered up for NOTHING! To anyone reading this -- make sure you get a second opinion. Not every plumber is made equal. Just like any other profession, you have to sanity check one another. Shop around! And don't take anyone's word at face value -- especially when you're an out of state landlord/property owner.

Another positive experience with T.J.’s Plumbing and Heating. This time was the installation of a new combi boiler/water heating system. I want to thank everyone involved - David, Tony, Chuck and Jim for a job well done. The job was carried out on a very windy and rainy day, but the guys were careful to keep any mess to a minimum and cleaned up well when everything was done. A couple of glitches made two return trips necessary, but each time (first Chuck, then Jim) arrived within a day, took care of the issues and explained everything in detail politely and professionally. All of the guys represented the company very well. We have dealt with T. J.’s for seven years now and would not think of going anywhere else.

My well went dry during memorial day weekend. Called TJ's on Tuesday and a technician came out. He determined that their was plenty of water and removed the pump and tubing. The next day Clint and his partner came out to finish the installation. They installed a submersible pump and performed in very prompt and professional manner. I was incredibly pleased to once again have running water. I would recommend Clint and TJ's to anyone without any qualms.

10/10 would work with this company again!! Brandon & Damien were both so great to have working on our Hvac. Great conversations, super knowledgeable, and very courteous to my home! They helped clean, wore their shoe coverings, asked permission for anything needing to be done, updated me on the work, etc. Wonderful 2 workers that knew what they were doing and did a fabulous job! THANK YOU GUYS!!!

BRAVO TEAM TJ! Every technician from TJ’s Plumbing and Heating has been more than capable. They are GOOD! I tend to ask a lot of questions and they are always friendly and willing with explanation. Shout out to Tim! ~ TJ's guys are thorough, friendly and respect MY FLOORS. The prices are consistently competitive and more than Reasonable. Highly recommended.

December 29th, 2025, right around the holidays, woke up and took a shower with the coldest water imaginable. My water tank was shot. Called TJs plumbing that morning and they were there by lunch to look at the tank and determine whether its needs replaced or to order a new piece. Around dinner time I got a call to go over options and they were very educational with what happened and what options I had along with prices. The part they needed would have been a few business days and it was an older tank so I decided to replace it. December 30th, after I came back home after work, I had running hot water. The price, the efficiency, and the ease it took exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend. Excellent service and very personal.

Brandon and Damien came out to install our new AC unit. They were very kind and respectful of our house. Before the two of them left, they made sure to test the new AC and recheck the furnace to make sure they were working properly. Brandon also made sure to tell me if there were any problems or if we had questions we could call and he’d be happy to help us out. Someone from TJs came out to give us a free estimate, and their pricing for the new unit was comparable to other HVAC services in Erie, but we went with them from working with them in the past. I recommend them to anyone needing heating, cooling, or plumbing services.
