We had a ductless system installed in 2011 and have been very satisfied with the system and the wonderful, personal service from WM Buffington. We had the annual cleaning and inspection done recently, and customer service was amazing, Joanne is always so pleasant and keeps you up to date on any time changes. The service techs were friendly and thorough. In an AI world, it's so nice to find a company that still values people and great customer service.

I had several estimates for an AC ductless mini split system to be installed on my house in early 2019. Bill Buffington personally showed up at my house. Not only did he give me the best estimate of all, but had the job scheduled and installed within days. The workmanship, and quality of everything that was done was top-notch. I am completely happy with the work they did and I’m looking forward to having them install another unit for me. I highly recommend WM Buffington!!

I got several estimates to replace my furnace. One I thought was a little high the other never got back to me. I called Buffington they came out a couple days later and I had a estimate in less than two days. I was impressed they measured all my radiators to get the correct size furnace the other two did not. Very pleased with their customer service and workmanship.

This team and company is the absolutely best in the Harrisburg area. I always like to deal locally and these guys don't disappoint. I stumbled across them after a horrible experience with a larger company. They installed a new HVAC system, whole house humidifier, tankless water heater and solved countless other plumbing issues. The staff is phenomenal including the office. I whole heartedly recommended these guys

What does one expect when calling in help for heater/air conditioner inspection? I don’t know anything about the old heater in the basement. What I got was an honest, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly assessment. Shortly after, I had a plumbing issue and didn’t think twice on who to call. Received the exact same service. Two different people, same quality service. And no, this isn’t a fake AI generated review. I was an English major in college and this is just how I write.

My experience with this company is excellent! Larry came to clean my Furnance in November 2025, then I had a leak in the basement . I have an oil/ boiler pipe. With the sub zero temps of this winter, my pipe in the bedroom froze and burst. He did everything he could to help me keep heat in the main living area. He has a great deal of knowledge and experience to help you! He is a great employee. I would recommend this company to ANYONE in the area that needs regular or emergency service.on their heat/cooling or plumbing in their home

Last week my furnace stopped working sometime in the early evening. I thought if I went to a YouTube video, I could DIY, but before long I realized my furnace problems were way over my head. Since I have a gas fireplace, I waited til the next morning to call for a HVAC company and I wasn’t in dire straits right at that time. I talked to my sister who coincidentally had her furnace break down a few days earlier. Without hesitation, she said “call Buffington”. I called Buffington’s the next morning and within an hour or so, they were at my house. They worked on my furnace for a while and diagnosed it as needing a circuit board and another part. They picked up both parts and had my furnace running like new; all within a few hours. Without a doubt I would highly recommend Buffington for any HVAC problems you might have. They were both professional and efficient during my furnace repair. In addition, they were very personable which made me feel like I was in good hands and the cost was very reasonable. I’m sure at some time in the future (hopefully the very distant future) I will have a need for HVAC services again. I will definitely call Buffington. You will not regret contacting them.

Highly recommend. I had them come yesterday as a second opinion after another company told me I needed a new furnace (7-8k it would have cost me) when I had no heat. Larry had my furnace fixed and heating my house within 45 minutes and it was significantly less expensive. I will be calling them first if I ever need work done again!
